01/469th National Film Awards: Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Kriti Sanon and others attend the prestigious ceremony
The 69th National Film Awards ceremony was a starry affair. It was hosted at the Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi and President Droupadi Murmu conferred the recipients with the prestigious award. Alia Bhatt, dressed in her wedding saree, attended the event with husband Ranbir Kapoor. Veteran actress Waheeda Rehman also attended the ceremony as she was receiving the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
02/4Kriti Sanon and Allu Arjun
Best Actor receipents, Kriti Sanon and Allu Arjun were seated together. For her ace performance in Mimi, Kriti jointly got this award with Alia Bhatt, who won it for Gangubai Kathiawadi. Allu Arjun also attended the event, as he was receiving the Best Actor award for Pushpa.

R Madhavan, who turned director with 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect', won the prestigious national award for Best Feature Film. The actor-filmmaker was seen seated with ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli, whose movie RRR bagged awards in six categories at the 69th National Film Awards.

Karan Johar's production venture, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani starrer Shershaah, was honoured with the Special Jury Award. The filmmaker opted for a dapper black shervani for the event. Speaking at the event, KJo said, “It’s been an exciting journey. Our film Shershaah released in 2021 is the real life story of Captain Vikram Batra. We are forever grateful to the family for allowing us to tell the brave, brave story to the entire world. It was depicted so beautifully by actors Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani and directed by Vishnuvardhan. We are very proud directors and producers at Dharma Productions and Shabbir Boxwala. Apoorva Mehta and myself are both very honoured, humbled and privileged to be here.”
