new recruits
, 997 are lecturers in non-government aided colleges, 57 inspectors of cooperative societies, 57 gram panchayat development officers and 31 district level group-C personnel in information and public relations department.
Naveen expected that their talent, commitment, and hard work would bring more efficiency to the field they would be working in.
He said that the govt has pioneered transformative governance under its 5T initiative. “This initiative has fast tracked our development projects bringing transformation in every sector, and empowered everyone, including the people at the last mile,” he added.
Panchayati Raj minister Pradip Kumar Amat said the financial situation of the state was in a very bad shape two decades ago. “There was no new recruitment. But now Odisha is a leading economy among states, and now we make regular recruitments,” he added.
Four new recruits shared their experiences. Among others, Panchayati Raj secretary SK Lohani and higher education secretary Arabinda Agrawal were present.
