Superstar Aamir Khan has been one of the most trustworthy actors in the industry, his films usually deliver at the box office. But his last film Laal Singh Chaddha faced an abysmal reaction at the box office. The film’s collection not only shocked the industry but also made Aamir question his decision and the latest changes happening in the industry. The actor decided to take a break from acting and concentrate more on his personal life and production house, which has produced films like Lagaan and Delhi Belly.
But the actor is now back with a bang and is working on multiple projects, as an actor and as a producer. The actor recently revealed details about his upcoming projects. Aamir told News18 that his next acting project is called

Sitaare Zameen Par

, which is the Hindi remake of Spanish hit film

, which Aamir had earlier offered to Farhan Akhtar but then requested him to step down as he felt he should be doing the role. The film is directed by RS Prasanna who earlier directed Shubh Mangal Saavdhan with Ayushmann Khurrana.
He mentioned that with Sitaare Zameen Par he is going 10 steps ahead of Taare Zameen Par. He added Sitaare will make the audience laugh , while in Taare he helped Darsheel Safary’s character but in Sitaare 9 people with their own set of problems will be helping him.

Aamir also revealed that he will be producing three films, one of them is Laapata Ladies which is directed by his ex-wife Kiran Rao which is releasing on October 5th. Aamir is also producing Lahore, 1947 which stars Sunny Deol and will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and his third production venture is for his son

Junaid

who is making his debut with Maharaj which is backed by Aditya Chopra.
The actor also added that just like his uncle Tahir Hussain ( producer of

Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak

) , his son Junaid is also going to be a producer as he will back a project called Pritam Pyaare, wherein Aamir has a cameo appearance.
