In the welcome video, Aamir Khan talked about his long-standing dream of creating a platform where he could discuss his films and the art of filmmaking. He said, "I have always wanted to create a platform where I can talk about my journey, the lessons I have learned, and the incredible creative process that goes into making a film." The channel is not just another promotional space. It promises rare and honest glimpses from film sets, deep discussions about storytelling, and conversations with industry professionals.

Aamir Khan Talkies has released many unseen footageand insights of Aamir’s films and productions one of which was his audition for the role of Sub-Inspector Shyam Manohar in 'Laapataa Ladies.' The clip shows his screen test for the character, which was eventually played by Ravi Kishan, as part of the channel’s special casting diaries series.
