" The left-handed batter was seen pulling out a chit from his pocket after scoring a century in the tournament, a moment that caught the attention of fans and pundits alike. Explaining the gesture, Abhishek revealed it was part of his journaling and manifestation practice, a method he adopted on the advice of former India opener Shikhar Dhawan. "I started journaling a long time back. Shikhar Paaji once told me it's helpful, and it really has been over the last 2-3 years," Abhishek said, crediting the practice for helping him navigate both the highs and lows of the sport.

His innings, which included 14 boundaries and 10 sixes at a staggering strike rate of 256.36, is now etched in the record books as the highest individual score by an Indian in IPL history. He surpassed KL Rahul’s 132* against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2020.

Overall, Abhishek’s 141 ranks as the third-highest individual score in IPL history, behind only Chris Gayle’s 175* and Brendon McCullum’s 158*. The youngster scored 116 of his 141 runs through boundaries, surpassing Jonny Bairstow's previous record of 90 for the most runs in a single innings by a Sunrisers Hyderabad batter via boundaries. His tally of 10 sixes also set a new franchise record, overtaking David Warner's mark of eight in an innings.
