Aishwarya was asked about losing herself to marriage and kids

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan got married in 2007 and soon after that, they did a tour together called 'Unforgettables'. During a press conference held for it, Aishwarya was asked by a reporter, "Would we lose you to marriage and babies?"
The actress reacted to it and said, "I am looking forward to babies, I am enjoying marriage, there is no question of losing oneself to it.”
A few years ago, Abhishek had spoken about how Aishwarya willingly embraced

motherhood

and is a

supermom

to daughter Aaradhya. He had said during an interview with ANI, "When she became a mother her career took a backseat. Today, she does everything for Aaradhya. She is supermom. Till date people refer to her as the most beautiful woman in the world, and I know she is immensely grateful for the love. She values her fans and enjoys the adulation as well as the trappings of her career. Even with the hectic travel schedules and erratic work hours, I’ve never heard her complain about front or back of the plane, Maruti or Mercedes.”
For those not in the know, Aaradhya was born in 2011. Clearly, since then, Aishwarya has limited her work and has been doing only quality work where she really feels driven to leave her daughter and be on the set.

However, fans do miss her on-screen. One user had asked Abhishek on X (formerly Twitter) by trolling him that he should rather sit and home, not do any movies and let his wife do movies rather. Abhishek responded to this troll and won the internet.
The 'Guru' actor had said, "Let her sign??? Sir, she certainly doesn't need my permission to do anything. Especially something she loves."
