Bhatt is leading the race as far as the actresses are concerned, she has cemented her Numero Uno position thanks to her films like Raazi, Highway, Darlings, Gangubai Kathiwadi and her recent release Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Having worked with numerous top actors, Alia has now revealed what she learnt from some of the biggest names in the industry.

In her conversation with Vogue Singapore, the actress revealed that working with Shah Rukh Khan made a huge impact on her. She shared the frame with him in Dear Zindagi, wherein he played the role of her counselor. Alia shared that working with Shah Rukh Khan impacted her behavior on the sets.

Alia recently won her first National Award for her performance in Gangubai Kathiyawadi, talking about experience of working with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the actress said that it felt like going back to school. She mentioned that once you walk out of a Sanjay Leela Bhansali set, you are not the same. One gets ‘Bhansali-fied’ as Ranveer Singh puts it.

she learnt imagination, guts and the freedom of knowing that anything is possible in front of a camera and nothing is permanent. She also mentioned that both of them, whom she calls her mentors, are two very different personalities and have very strong demeanor but have a great influence in her life.
On the work front Alia has begun shooting for the second home production Jigra which is produced by her and Karan Johar’s production house. She will be teaming up with diretor Vasan Bala for the first time. Vasan is known for his films Peddlers, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota and Monica…O My Darling. She also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Baiju Bawara with Ranveer Singh and YRF's Spy Universe film with Sharvari.
