As soon as the video started doing the rounds, comments poured in from all sides. While one user wrote, 'Is this legal?? you’re using Alia’s face', another one added, 'This is the actual video of Wamiqa Gabbi. They replaced it with Alia’s face using AI'.

Alia Bhatt has unfortunately been targeted by deepfake technology before. Previously, a manipulated video surfaced showing a girl in a floral co-ord set sitting on a bed and mimicking Alia's gestures and voice with surprising accuracy, replicating both her facial expressions and mannerisms.

Earlier, a digitally manipulated video featuring Rashmika Mandanna's face superimposed onto a clip of British Indian influencer Zara Patel went viral. The 'Animal' actress responded to the deepfake, expressing her concerns about such deceptive practices.
