Amar Kaushik has now opened up about the pressure he experienced while working on the film, owing to the high expectations from fans and audiences.
In a recent conversation with Game Changers, Amar Kaushik spoke candidly about his journey following the success of 'Stree 2'. “Yeh hua ki, bahut pressure mein film banayi thi, bahut prepone hua tha and many things happened, toh ab thoda relaxed rahunga for 3–4 months. Secondly, logon ki expectations bahut badh gayi hai, agla kab banega, toh usse bach raha hoon aur apne sar par nahi le raha. Baaki kuch change nahi hua,” he said.

Kaushik further shared insights into why the film’s development was particularly taxing. “Bahut pressure mein film banayi thi. Ek toh sequel ka tha, sequel ko hamesha gaaliyan padti hai. Maine aur mere writer, Niren Bhatt, ne kaha bhai gaali khane ke liye ready raho, ab kitni kum khaaoge uspe kaam karte hai,” he admitted, noting the uphill task of meeting the expectations typically associated with sequels.
The post-production phase, especially the visual effects work, proved challenging due to unpredictable timelines. He explained that during the VFX stage of 'Stree 2', managing the process without a hands-on approach made it difficult to estimate completion timelines. When they realised a lot of work was still pending with little time left, it resulted in several sleepless nights during the final 2–3 months. He added that he’s finally able to sleep well after the film’s release.
