Ameesha reacts to replacing Kareena Khan in KNPH

Ameesha Patel had replaced Kareena Kapoor Khan in 'Kaho Naa..Pyaar Hai'. Kareena was out of the film just few days before the shoot was about to begin. In an earlier interview, Ameesha had said that Kareena did not back out of the film, she was asked to leave. "Actually she didn’t back out. Mr Rakesh Roshan, from what he told me was that, he asked her to leave the film because they were having differences. In fact Pinky Aunty, Rakesh uncle’s wife and Hrithik’s mom, said we were shocked. The set was ready and how will you find a Sonia in three days? Crores of rupees on that set and you know they’ll have to be dismantled. What we do with the film and it was Hrithik’s debut and everyone was really stressed," she said.
Ameesha was got into the film last minute and the rest is history. Clearly, it was a dream debut, not just for Hrithik but also for her. However, since then, Ameesha and Kareena seem to have a fall-out. Recently, when Kareena was on 'Koffee With Karan', she was asked why she did not attend the success party of 'Gadar 2'. Karan Johar took a dig at her and asked if it was because she has a history with Ameesha Patel. Kareena had dodged that question and said that the only thing she knows is that her film 'Gadar 2' has made history.
