Actor
Amit Sadh
, who had the opportunity to collaborate with Salman Khan in the 2016 blockbuster film Sultan, recently shared some heartwarming memories of the star.
In an interview with Pop Talks podcast, he reminisced about a special Eid celebration at Salman's Galaxy Apartments residence, where Salman insisted he stay longer because he had a surprise in store for him.
Amit revealed that he wasn't accustomed to staying up late, a habit he maintains even today as he typically retires early, going to bed by sunset. However, he had made a promise to spend time with Salman once their film achieved success, as he had been somewhat hesitant about getting too close to the star during the shoot. The opportunity finally arrived during Eid when he was at Salman's residence, and he was prepared to depart by midnight. But Salman had a surprise in store.
The actor also added that he told Salman at 12 that he is ready to leave as he is not a night person. However, Salman made him wait for a little longer, citing he had a gift for him. As the evening unfolded, one hour turned into two, and two into three. Amit engaged with other familiar guests to pass the time, but after that, he approached Salman and attempted to excuse himself by citing an early shoot scheduled for the next day. However, Salman had different plans. To put it briefly, he didn't allow Amit to leave until 4:30 in the morning. Salman's energy at 4:30, whether it's AM or PM, was electric. During their conversation, Salman gifted Amit his bicycle, knowing Amit's fondness for cycling, and said, 'This is yours.' The exchange was emotional, and they continued talking until 5-5:30 AM. Amit left Salman's residence on that bicycle, still dressed in his sherwani.
'Sultan' also starred Anushka Sharma and
Randeep Hooda
in the lead roles. The film was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
