Anil Kapoor was recently spotted as Mr India in a commercial, which sparked rumours about him doing the sequel of his hit film which was directed by Shekhar Kapur. Though the actor has a long list of films lined up, it is now being reported he is in talks with
Ritesh
Batra for an international film.
Pinkvilla in its report has suggested that Ritesh is working on a script based on a mature romance between an Indian man and a French woman and has approached Anil Kapoor as the lead for the film.
The report also suggests that the film's tone is going to be similar to that of 'The Lunchbox' and is set to explore themes of love, loss, and yearning, promising another extraordinary romantic tale. Anil Kapoor has shown interest in the film. And if all goes well, the film should be going on floor by the start of next year, making it Anil Kapoor’s fourth international project after 24, Slumdog Millionaire and Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol.
