Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S25 came in fourth and fifth place with a 3% share, followed by last year’s Galaxy S24 and its 2% share. Two more Samsung phones slotted after that, with the Galaxy A55 and A16 5G both garnering 2% of total sales for the period.

The big newcomer in the list is the iPhone 16e, which entered the top ten in its first full month of market availability following its announcement in late February.

Counterpoint points out that initial sales for the 16e are actually behind the iPhone SE (2020) and SE (2022) models which shouldn’t come as a surprise given the 16e’s higher starting price in Europe at €699 vs €519 for the SE (2022) and €479 for the SE (2020). Apple is also still offering last year’s iPhone 15, which was the tenth best-selling phone for the Q1 period.
