The State-Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) Assam has released important guidelines for the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE 2.0), which is scheduled for September 29, 2024. The guidelines include the dress code and other exam-day instructions. The commission stated that no candidate will be allowed inside the exam venue without proper frisking, which will be carried out by police and/or authorized personnel both manually and using metal detectors.
After the exam is over, invigilators will collect the OMR sheets from candidates.
Once they verify the receipt of the OMR sheets, candidates will be allowed to take away the question papers, as per SLRC instructions.
SLRC Assam ADRE 2.0: Important exam day guidelines
- Candidates are advised to verify the location of the examination venue a day in advance so that they do not face any problem on the day of the examination.
- Candidates are advised to reach their examination venue one and half hours before the commencement of the exam.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center after gate closing time.
- Frisking will be carried out by police and/or by authorised personnel manually as well as through metal detectors. If any candidate is subjected to improper frisking, the candidates shall immediately report to the Centre-in-charge.
- For speedy frisking, it is advisable that candidates wear half-sleeve attire and slippers.
- Candidates will only be permitted to carry admit card, valid ID proof (Aadhar card/PAN card/Driving license/Voter ID, etc.), black/blue ball-point pen, plastic cards like debit/credit card and minimum cash, PwBD certificates and scribe related documents, if any. Transparent personal water bottle without labels.
- Candidates will be allowed to take away their question booklets after the examination.
