However, as the outrage against him continues, an old video of comedian Kanan Gill has resurfaced, revealing that he had once posed a similar question to actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani.
The 2015 video, reportedly from the promotions of Welcome to Karachi, features Kanan asking Jackky, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join once and stop it?” The question left Jackky laughing, but Kanan insisted, saying, “You have to answer, guys.”This revelation comes after Ranveer Allahbadia’s now-viral comment on India’s Got Latent, where he allegedly asked a contestant an inappropriate question involving body parts and proposed an indecent act for Rs 2 crore. His question, which stirred massive backlash, was: “Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join once to stop it forever?”
Interestingly, reports suggest that the origin of this question is an Australian comedy show, Truth or Drink, where host Sammy Walsh asked the same to comedian Alan Fang.

Despite similar jokes appearing in past comedic settings, Ranveer Allahbadia is facing severe criticism, with Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh reportedly unfollowing him on Instagram amid the controversy.

The cases originate from controversial remarks he made on the now-deleted YouTube reality show India’s Got Latent, hosted by comedian Samay Raina. Through his lawyer Abhinav Chandrachud, son of former Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Allahbadia has requested the consolidation of FIRs and anticipatory bail. His plea follows summons issued by Guwahati police, raising concerns about his potential arrest along with others involved in the show.
