An ambitious luxury project

Jio World Plaza, an ambitious luxury project undertaken by Isha Ambani, will see its unveiling today the 1st of November. A luxury mall like no other, it aims to bring together the best of Indian luxury fashion and global fashion giants.

A star studded event

Its pre-launch party was a star-studded event that saw the creme de la creme of Bollywood in attendance at the heart of Mumbai in Bandra-Kurla.

What celebs wore

Described as a "High-octane cultural smorgasbord of fashion, music, dance, and more" Here is what the celebrity attendees wore to the Jio World Plaza launch:

Deepika Padukone

Deepika dazzled in a grey off-shoulder dress with a structure unique to Louis Vuitton. The outfit was fresh off the runway from LV's fall 2023 collection and the actress paired it with knee-length boots and Cartier jewellery.

Pooja Hegde

Pooja Hegde turned up in a svelte caramel-coloured gown with a plunging neckline by the clothing brand Antithesis. The silhouette complemented her beautifully as did her warm brown hair and silver jewellery.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant

Anant Ambani and his fiance Radhika Merchant turned up in matching black outfits. Where Anant looked dapper in a suit with a Nehru jacket, Radhika stunned in a creation by Filippino designer Monique Lhuillier. She wore a bejewelled headband to complement her outfit.

Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt turned heads in her custom monochrome look by Indian couturier Gaurav Gupta. The outfit featured a chocolate brown colour scheme and encompassed a corsetted dress with signature Gaurav Gupta detailing and matching leggings.

Nita, Mukesh and Isha Ambani

The hosts of the star-studded night were in their usual glam. Nita wore a floor-length teal gown with floral embellishments and Isha opted for a dazzling all-black ensemble. Mukesh Ambani wore a classic navy suit and white shirt.

Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena quite literally glimmered in her gilded outfit. A co-ord set that featured A full-sleeved top and floor-length skirt, the all-gold look was definitely an eye-catcher.

Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal

Isha Ambani her husband Anand Piramal looked classy in their evening outfits. Isha wore a shimmering black gown with vibrant motifs and Anand opted for a blinged-out tux. They both wore all-black ensembles.

Malaika Arora

Malaika looked chic in a sheer black body-con dress with ruched detailing. She paired it with an emerald green necklace and a bejwelled one, a sleek top knot, and a clutch.

Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif looked fresh as a daisy in her floral motif gown. The dress featured a high slit and a bed of roses over a dark canvas. She paired it with pin-straight hair and black heels.

Akash and Shlokha Ambani

Akash and Shlokha Ambani arrived in style to launch the party. Shlokha opted for a silver dress with floral embellishments by Monique Lhuillier like her future sister-in-law and Akash opted for an all-black monochrome look.

Bhumi Pednekar

The actress brought an old-world glamour to the red carpet in a creation by designer Sadek Majed. The gown which was all black, featured a dramatic silhouette. The off-shoulder sleeves were enormous and the lace detailing was intricate.

Shehnaaz Gill

Shehnaaz looked gorgeous in this Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation - the look was all drama. From the vivid red colour to the hand-embroidered flowers, the dripping crystals to the voluminous silhouette. She looked ravishing.

Sara Ali Khan

Sara too donned a dazzling co-ord set by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The dress featured ornate golden details, a plunging neckline, and padded shoulders which added an interesting twist to the look.

Mouni Roy

Mouni looked picture-perfect in this Barbie-pink bodycon dress. She paired her look with a shimmering choker, Malibu-ready waves and a silver clutch.

Mona Mehta

Mother of Shloka Ambani and Jewellery designer Mona Mehta looked classy and chic in a dramatic white button-down with enormous sleeves, which she paired with a champagne-coloured skirt and a teal clutch.

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza

The husband and wife duo wore complementary yet contrasting outfits that gave us Met Gala 2019 vibes. The outfits were in shades of bright red and pink where Genelia opted for a Campy suit with a bubblegum pink cape and Riteish opted for an all-red ensemble.
