Big B buys 25,000 sq ft plot for Rs 40 crore in Ayodhya

Amitabh Bachchan’s investment spree in Ayodhya continues, with the legendary actor acquiring his fourth property in the temple town. According to a report by Hindustan Times, the actor recently bought a 25,000 square feet plot for a staggering Rs 40 crore.

The land is said to be located near the high-end ‘Sarayu’ real estate project, in which Bachchan had previously invested Rs 14.5 crore.This latest purchase follows his recent Rs 20 crore investment (Rs 10 crore each) in a real estate firm owned by Bollywood producer Anand Pandit. Bachchan appears to be diversifying his real estate holdings strategically, particularly in Ayodhya, which has seen a massive infrastructure and tourism boom following the Ram Temple development.From family memorials to high-value dealsBachchan’s investments in Ayodhya began last year when he bought a 5,372 square feet plot for Rs 4.54 crore just before the Ram Temple inauguration. Additionally, the actor registered a 54,000 square feet land parcel under his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s trust. Reports indicate he intends to build a memorial for his father on that land, a deeply personal tribute amidst his business expansions.

Speaking of his emotional connect, a source close to the development said, “It’s not just about returns. Mr Bachchan has expressed his admiration for Ayodhya’s cultural and spiritual significance.”
