Vicky Kaushal has undergone an impressive transformation for 'Chhaava'. His fitness trainer Tejas Lalwani opened up on the actor’s weight journey. He stated that at one point Vicky’s programme was being led by Kris Gethin and he was only implementing it which was also a major opportunity. He also added that as the shoot progressed, Kris had to leave the country because of visa issues post which took over the training process and as the shoot went ahead Vicky faced an injury on the sets. Talking about the injury in an exclusive interview with Etimes, Tejas said , “ It was a crucial sequence in Chhaava, one that simply couldn’t be avoided. At first, it seemed like a minor setback, a small pain that he thought would pass. But by the next morning, he was not able to move his arm , he’s not able to flex it. Nobody knew what happened, we went to our physio and he recommended an osteopath and we were told Vicky can’t train for a month. “

Vicky Kaushal's much-anticipated historical epic Chhaava is off to a roaring start at the box office. Ahead of its grand Valentine's Day release, the film has already raked in over Rs 13 crore in advance bookings, setting it up for a strong opening.According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, Chhaava has amassed approximately Rs 13.78 crore through pre-booked ticket sales. The film has sold over 4.87 lakh tickets across more than 14,063 shows nationwide. While the net advance booking figure currently stands at Rs 13 crore, the inclusion of blocked seats is expected to push the total to Rs 17.87 crore.
Vicky Kaushal starrer 'Chhaava' releases in theatres today. The film sees him play the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife Yesubai Bhonsle in the film. It also stars Akshaye Khanna who plays Aurangzeb. It's one of the most awaited movies of 2025.
