Deals: the Galaxy S25 series comes with a free tablet, Google Pixels heavily discounted

Amazon UK is offering a free Galaxy Tab A9+ with its whole flagship line – but that’s just the cherry on top. There are discounts across the board and you also get £100 Samsung Credit with each phone. This offer ends on June 26 – more details on how to claim the tablet here.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra deal is pretty wild – the phone is £150 off, then you get an additional £150 off at checkout. This drops the price of the 256GB model to below £1,000. Don’t forget about the free tablet and Samsung Credit either.

But the price is interesting because £1,000 is how much you would spend on an S25+ right now (despite discounts) and is £100 less than the S25 Edge price (not necessarily, read below).

Speaking of, here is the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. With pre-orders done, you actually have to pay extra for the upgrade to 512GB. However, a discount, some credit and a free tablet help soften the blow. Even more so if you are a Prime or Prime Student subscriber.

The Galaxy S25+ is just not worth it at the moment – the 512GB variant has a minor discount, the 256GB has none, so they are just £21 apart. But you’d be better off getting the S25 Ultra – the 256GB variant is cheaper!

The vanilla Galaxy S25 has a discount on all storage capacities, dropping it to £700 for the base 128GB. Keep that price in mind as we head over to the Pixel side of the store.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL are £300 off. With that, the smaller Pro costs the same as the vanilla S25 – despite having 4GB more RAM and proper 48MP sensors in the periscope (5x vs. 10MP 3x on the Galaxy) and ultra-wide cameras. Here’s a detailed comparison between the 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL.

As for the Pixel 9 Pro XL, the 256GB variant is £50 less than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. You don’t get a free tablet, but you do get a £50 coupon for the Pixel Buds Pro 2. This coupon is available for all current Pixels except the a-models. Here’s the Pixel 9 Pro XL vs. Galaxy S25 Ultra head-to-head article.

If you want a smaller phone but don’t want to spend Pro money, the Pixel 9 is £100 less than the 9 Pro. You can check out our Pixel 9 vs. 9 Pro article, but the better cameras and extra perks are a great upgrade for the price.

For an actually cheap Google phone there are the Pixel 9a and 8a. The latter is a 2024 model, which means it uses the less-than-perfect Tensor G3, but it is around £100 cheaper than the 9a.

Unlike the 8a and 9a, the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold does come with a £50 coupon for the Pixel Buds Pro 2. However, even with a hefty £450 discount it is still quite pricey.

Not as pricey as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6, though, itself with a decent discount – and £100 Samsung Credit and a free Galaxy Tab A9+.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 is also part of the offer with a nice discount of its own, Samsung Credit and the free tablet. Of course, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 are a couple of months away from launch and they will have early bird deals – though their prices probably won’t go this low for quite a while.
