Taapsee Pannu

is all set with her next productional venture, '

Dhak Dhak

' which stars

Ratna Pathak Shah

,

Fatima Sana Shaikh

, Dia Mirza and

Sanjana Sanghi

in lead roles. However, did you know that the film also has a John Abraham connection?
Yes, you read that right! In an interview with News18, producer Pranjal Khandhdiya shared that when they got the script, the first visuals in his mind was from '

Dhoom

'.

According to him, the first thing that comes to mind when people talk about

bikes

is John Abraham riding a Hayabusa or a Ducati in the popular franchise.
Further, the producer added that the one thing they were very sure of was that they weren’t making a biker chick flick. Their focus was ordinary women taking up riding and going on an extraordinary journey and that’s what also appealed to John when he watched the trailer. According to the Pranjal, the actor couldn’t stop himself from writing an appreciation note for them. He genuinely appreciated the trailer and he’s looking forward to watching the film too. John also reportedly called each actor personally and congratulated them.

Pranjal even went on to call John his ‘idol’. The producer added that he is very happy that they have finally made a film with women riding bikes, not just on city roads but all the way up till Khardung La. He stated that a shout out from the man you’ve idolised means a lot. According to him, John is the original bike fanatic and the whole nation knows about that.
After watching the trailer of the film, John had taken to his social media handles and shared a post appreictaing the team. He wrote, 'Motorcycling is in my heart and I believe that I can write better than I can walk. I have always been in love with motorcycles so much so that I tuned one of my motorcycles in a way that the sound of the piston was in sync with my heart beat. Whenever I sat on it, there was a sense of synchronization where I felt one with my bike and our hearts beating together. I am told that's exactly the philosophy behind the title Dhak Dhak. This is my idea of romance.'

Further, he added, 'A big shoutout to Taapsee and Pranjal for being brave enough to produce such content. A film like this is so special. It's high time that we saw a lot more women lead their own lives. I wish women would go out there and expel the notion that women can't ride. I always wanted everybody to make motorcycling a part of their lifestyle. The film is more than celebrating bikes, it's about celebrating life.'
