In a recent conversation with M9 News, Dil Raju shared his perspective on navigating the challenges of mounting a high-profile film with a top-tier director. “When making big films with big directors, 100% problems are going to come up—not only for me but for almost everyone,” he stated.Dil Raju admits issues in the making of Game ChangerHe also confirmed an earlier remark made by editor Shameer Mohammed regarding the film’s first cut having a runtime of over seven hours, which had to be trimmed down to three and a half hours.

“There was an editor’s statement about Game Changer once having a runtime of four and a half hours. That is true, and such interference is bound to happen when working with big directors,” Dil Raju added.Dil Raju also took full accountability for the missteps that occurred during production. “In my film career, I had never worked with such big directors like Shankar. Game Changer was my first wrong step. I should have clearly mentioned my points in the contract and moved into production, but I didn’t.
