Fiji's deputy prime minister and minister for trade, Manoa Seru Kamikamica, told Reuters on the sidelines of a UN investment conference in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday that Fiji had hoped to open an embassy in Israel in the next 12 months but would monitor and evaluate situation before proceeding.

ABU DHABI: Fiji's deputy prime minister and minister for trade, Manoa Seru Kamikamica, told Reuters on the sidelines of a UN investment conference in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday that Fiji had hoped to open an embassy in Israel in the next 12 months but would monitor and evaluate situation before proceeding.
He said that the embassy would hold off its opening, "until things stabilize," but that Fiji was committed to opening it, adding the location had not been formalised.
