Final Destination

: Bloodlines wrapped up its debut weekend at the Indian box office on a strong note, despite facing stiff competition from the high-octane Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, the horror thriller earned approximately Rs 6.25 crore on Sunday (Day 4), bringing its total weekend haul to an estimated Rs 22.10 crore net.The film, directed by Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky, has shown steady growth since its early Thursday release. It opened with Rs 4.5 crore, followed by Rs 5.35 crore on Friday and Rs 6 crore on Saturday. Sunday’s marginal bump brought the weekend total comfortably past the Rs 20 crore mark. The English version continued to lead in terms of box office traction, contributing over Rs 14 crore with an impressive 52.67% occupancy rate. The Hindi dubbed version added over Rs 6 crore to the tally, while the Tamil and Telugu versions maintained consistent momentum, contributing approximately Rs 2 crore combined. However, the film's solid run came under pressure with the arrival of Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which debuted on Saturday and quickly took the spotlight. The spy thriller not only overshadowed other releases but also posted a mammoth Rs 33 crore in just two days, becoming the biggest Hollywood opening weekend of 2025 in India.

The film still has a shot at becoming the second-highest Hollywood release of 2025, beating out even the Marvel superhero film Thunderbolts which earned an estimated collection of Rs 25 crore so far.

Final Destination: Bloodlines, the latest chapter in the cult horror franchise, stars Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, Brec Bassinger, and Anna Lore. With a mix of suspense, practical effects, and legacy appeal, the film has carved out its niche — but its long-term box office performance now hinges on how well it holds up against the blockbuster juggernaut of Mission: Impossible.
