Coming to his penultimate film, 'The Greatest of All Time' (

GOAT

) directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film has crossed a major landmark as it completes 26 days of its release. On 26th day the film added Rs 43 lakh to its kitty , thus taking the overall collection of the film to Rs 250.16 crore. Of the total amount Rs 222.6 crore came from Tamil version while Hindi version contributed Rs 16.46 crore and Telugu stood at Rs 11.1 crore.

And with this GOAT has become Vijay’s second biggest hit of all time, the top spot has been retained by

Leo: Bloody Sweet

which had collected Rs 341 crore in its seven week run. GOAT has also become Vijay’s second biggest hit in Hindi as it was unable to beat Leo’s collection of Rs 27.17 crore.

GOAT, featured Vijay in a dual role, and included a star-studded cast of Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and Meenakshi Chaudhary.
Meanwhile, it was in February this year that Vijay announced his political party

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam

and it was only in September the Election Commission of India registered it as a political party.
