'GOAT' OTT release official date announced

' was released in theaters on September 5. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the movie stars Vijay in dual roles as the lead and antagonist, and the rest of the cast includes Sneha, Prashanth, Meenkashi Chaudhary,

, Laila, Jayaram, Mohan, Ajmal, Parvathi Nair, and Vaibhav, among others, and the music for it was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The film has completed 25 days of its run in theaters, and it has grossed more than Rs 420 crore worldwide at the box office.

The film is all set to make its OTT debut, and the international platform Netflix took to social media to make the official announcement that the film will make its digital premiere on October 3, Thursday. The post read, "Ever seen a lion become a GOAT?! Thalapathy Vijay’s The G.O.A.T.—The Greatest Of All Time is coming to Netflix on October 3 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. #TheGOATOnNetflix."

On the work front, Vijay has signed up for his next and last film, 'Thalapathy 69' with director H Vinoth. The official announcement has been made, and the film is scheduled for release in October 2025. The film will mark Vijay's last of his acting career, as the actor is retiring from the entertainment industry to begin his political journey.
