Schools and colleges to remain closed on these dates, check constituency-wise details here

Haryana Assembly Elections 2024: The Haryana government has announced the closure of all government and private schools on October 4 and 5, 2024, in light of the upcoming state assembly elections. Many schools will be used as polling stations, and this decision is intended to help ensure a smooth election process.
To allow enough time for the necessary preparations, schools will be closed a day before the voting takes place.

District administrations have issued written orders confirming the holiday in the affected areas.
The closure is intended to ensure that polling stations are ready in advance. Voting for the Haryana Assembly elections is set for October 5, 2024, and schools will be closed from October 4 to facilitate the setup of ballot boxes, voting equipment, and security arrangements.
