Hema reveals the biggest gift from Dharam

Veteran actor Hema Malini turned 75 today. She took a moment to remember her remarkable life. The actor talked about a period when she was engaged in back-to-back projects. She also shared details of her birthday plans with her husband, actor Dharmendra.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Hema said that the most beautiful one was when she was very busy working on films.

From 1975 to 1985, the actress doesn’t think she rested even one day. She was continuously working. She was shooting for

Sholay

one day, then going to Afghanistan for Dharmatma, then going to Russia, and within two months coming back to shoot in Nasik. She played so many different kinds of roles in her personal life, too.
Hema delivered several hit films with Dharmendra, namely 'Sholay', 'Raja Jani', 'Baghavat', and more. In the same interview, she revealed that Dharmendra returned to Mumbai from the US to celebrate her birthday. She futher added that her biggest birthday gift is when Dharmendra spends time with her.
She further said that she is 75 today, but age is just a number. It depends on how you look after yourself if others are inspired by the work you do. That’s life. She does the work that she gets and spends time with her children and grandchildren.

In 1980, Hema and Dharmendra tied the knot. At the time, the actor was already married to

Prakash Kaur

, with whom he had four children: sons Sunny and Bobby, and daughters Ajeeta and Vijeta. With Hema, Dharmendra welcomed two daughters, Esha and Ahana.
