HSSC Constable Recruitment 2024: The

Haryana Staff Selection Commission

(HSSC) will conclude the

application process

for

Constable positions

tomorrow, September 24. Interested candidates can apply for 5,600 available positions through the official website, hssc.gov.in.
Out of these vacancies, 4,000 are designated for

General Duty Male Constables

, 600 for

General Duty Female Constables

, and the remaining 1,000 are for Male Constables in the India Reserve Battalions.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed at least Class 12 from a recognized board and should have studied Hindi or Sanskrit up to Class 10. Those with higher educational qualifications will not receive any additional credits.

Selection Process
The selection procedure includes three stages: the

Physical Measurement Test

(PMT), Physical Screening Test (PST), and a

Knowledge Test

. Candidates will be invited for PMT and PST based on a merit list derived from the HSSC Group C exam results.
Following these tests, four times the number of vacancies will be called for the Knowledge Test. This test will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions and will account for 94.5% of the overall selection weightage.
To qualify, general category candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks, while candidates from reserved categories need at least 40%.
