Indian Bank LBO Bank 2025 exam date: Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has officially announced the date for the Local Bank Officer (LBO) Recruitment Examination 2025. The online examination is scheduled to be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, as part of the bank’s multi-stage selection process for 400 vacancies in Junior Management Grade Scale I (JMGS-I).Only those candidates whose registration is complete with successful fee payment will be eligible to appear for the exam. The call letters for the online examination and detailed instructions will be made available shortly on the bank’s official website: www.iob.in.
Indian Overseas Bank LBO 2025: Exam pattern and selection process
The selection will be conducted in three stages:
- Online Examination
- Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
- Personal Interview
Candidates must qualify in each stage to be considered for final selection. The online test will consist of 140 objective-type questions divided across four sections, with a total duration of 3 hours.

Indian Overseas Bank LBO recruitment 2025: Pay scale, posting & service bond
Selected candidates will be appointed as Assistant Managers with a starting basic pay of INR 48,480, which can go up to ₹85,920 as per the applicable pay matrix. The total CTC includes DA, HRA, CCA, and other permissible benefits.All candidates will be posted within the state they applied for, and must sign a service bond of INR 2 lakh, committing to serve the bank for a minimum of 3 years from the date of joining. The probation period will be for 2 years of active service.
