Indian student in UK breaks into female undergraduate's bedroom, commits sex act with teddy bears

Indian student in UK Udkarsh Yadav broke in female undergraduate's room, ejaculated on her soft toys.

An Indian student studying at Northumbria University broke into a first-year female undergraduate's bedroom when she was not there and ejaculated on her belongings, including her teddy bears and bedcovers.

UK media identified the offender as Udkarsh Yadav, who gained access to the victim's bedroom at the university accommodation by using a gym keycard that by mistake allowed him to access all rooms. When the victim returned to her accommodation, she found white substance on her soft toys. UK Express reported that Yadav admitted his offences and escaped with a suspended prison sentence, while the university demanded that he move to different accommodation. "Following his conviction he now faces being kicked off his course by university chiefs and sent home in shame," the report said. The university administration said there was an administrative error in the key cards and that was quickly resolved. It was, however, through the key card data that Yadav was found as the culprit and his DNA matched with the white substance in the victim's room. Prosecutor Jennifer Coxon told the court that Yadav admitted that he was "overcome with desire" and he was aware that the gym cards were set up incorrectly giving access to all rooms.

The victim said she had her photos on the wall and she was worried that an unknown man had committed a sex act in her room. The report said she went to stay with a friend. Yadav admitted to burglary with intent to cause criminal damage. The incident took place earlier this year when the victim went to her home for Christmas. The report said Yadav was sentenced to 14 months suspended for two years, with rehabilitation requirements, 200 hours unpaid work and £117 compensation for three Jellycat soft toys and bed covers.Yadav's lawyer Shada Mellor told the court that his father owns a construction business in India. “His behaviour on the day in question is wholly out of character," his lawyer argued saying that Yadav chose to study in the UK as he wants to succeed and leave a lasting impact on the world.
