Master builders in life
Beavers are called nature’s engineers because they build dams using logs, sticks, mud, and stones, and these structures slow down water flow, which creates ponds that are home to birds, fish, frogs, and plants.

Their unique teeth
It is also said that a beaver’s front teeth never stop growing, and instead of being the classic white, a Beaver’s teeth are orange in colour. And as they continue growing, beavers have to gnaw on trees to keep their teeth from poking them.

They are semi-aquatic creatures
Another reason to celebrate beavers is that they are so multidimensional. They are excellent swimmers and can stay underwater for up to 15 minutes, and their webbed feet help them swim around in case there is danger on land.
