’s untitled directorial film which will have Vinayakan in a prominent role. Adding to the excitement towards this project is that the movie will reportedly have Mammootty as an antagonist against Vinayakan.

According to the reports by On Manorama, Mammootty will be playing a villain in Jithin K Jose’s directorial debut.

For the unversed, Jithin was the co-writer of Dulquer Salmaan’s crime drama movie ‘Kurup’.

Reportedly, Vinayakan will be playing a character that was first considered for the actors Joju George and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film will be bankrolled by Mammootty’s production company and the expectations are high. The untitled film is touted to be a

crime thriller

and marks the team-up of Mammootty and Vinayakan after a long gap.
There is also an interesting crew behind the untitled projects. With Sushin Shyam as the music composer, Roby Varghese Raj (Director of ‘Kannur Squad’) as the cinematographer, the film is expected to be a magnificent theatrical experience. The film will start rolling in Nagercoil in October.
Having a long history of playing antagonist roles, with the most recent one being in ‘Bramayugam’, the fans and movie buffs are eagerly waiting for the mega star’s villain character in the film.
Meanwhile, Mammootty’s previous outing ‘Turbo’, which was directed by Vysakh and scripted by Midhun Manuel Thomas, turned out to be a superhit. Mammootty has the most awaited project ‘Bazooka’ in the pipeline. The movie is directed by Deeno Dennis, the son of the veteran scriptwriter Kaloor Dennis. ‘Bazooka’ will also have the Tamil actor-director Gautham Vasudev Menon in a pivotal role.
