With BTS's
Jungkook
gearing up for the highly anticipated release of his first solo album, ‘GOLDEN’, scheduled for November 3, 2023, the youngest member of
BTS
has found himself busier with personal commitments. Jungkook's frequent travels have kept him in the air with nine flights from September 5 up to the present, many of these were trips to the United States for various commitments.
On October 14, as Jungkook made his way through Incheon Airport for his flight to Budapest, Hungary, an incident caught the attention of netizens. In a video, an airport security staff member was seen seemingly pushing the BTS singer, sparking backlash and criticism over what many considered an "unnecessary" and "inappropriate" action.

As Jungkook approached the security checkpoint, holding his camera and exchanging farewells with fans and the media, the person in front of him unexpectedly stopped, leading to an accidental bump. Subsequently, the security personnel appeared to assess the situation and Jungkook before physically pushing him backward and touching his camera. This incident has left many fans outraged.
There's been speculation among netizens that Jungkook may have been physically halted because filming was not allowed beyond that point. While some netizens recognized the importance of enforcing the rules, they also felt that physically pushing Jungkook, who was standing still and complying with instructions, was unwarranted.
ARMY
, the devoted BTS fanbase, have expressed their concerns regarding this interaction, urging the security personnel to handle such situations more considerately in the future.
One user wrote, "Filming is not allowed after a certain part in the airport and it is the duty of staff to remind people that. HOWEVER with words! There was absolute no need for staff to push Jungkook back. He was the only one who had his camera down and pointing away from anyone else." While another fan tweeted, "Let's find out how to write a complaint about this. You don’t push someone like that without permission." Another concerned fans wrote, "There was absolutely no need to push him when he already stopped to listen ... And then immediately turned it off when he got to know ...words could have been enough .. staff can remind politely ..."
