Justin called out for slut shaming Britney

The internet has banded together to call out singer Justin Timberlake for 'slut shaming' his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears for decades. The harsh social media reactions were triggered after the singer, in her upcoming memoir, revealed that she had an abortion because, "Justin was so sure that he didn't want to be a father."
The star, on Tuesday, released an excerpt from the book which has her opening up about terminating her pregnancy, which she described as "one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life."
The excerpt published on People read, "If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it."
According to the memoir, Timberlake "definitely wasn't happy about the pregnancy.

"He said we weren't ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young," she writes.

Besides coming to terms with the shocking revelation that was kept secret until today, fans slammed Justin for his behaviour after breaking up with the singer. Taking to their Twitter handles, fans of the singer, dug up old videos that saw him 'bragging' about 'Taking Britney Spears' virginity.'
The star appeared on SNL where he did a skit and took a dig at Britney saying, "I like to think that at first there is a popular female singer, who publically claimed to be virgins, but privately, he hit it."

Another clip also featured the star on a radio show where he was asked, "Did you f*** Britney Spears?"
To this, he hesitates saying, "man..." and then goes on to say, "Okay! I did it."
Reacting to the clips, social media users said, "The problem is not that Justin Timberlake didn't want a child the problem is after Britney Spears being pregnant and aborting bcs of him he went on tv and talked shit about her! The person that was pregnant with his child Disgusting awful man."
Another slammed Timberlake saying, "Britney Spears had an abortion and Justin Timberlake's reaction to their break up is to exploit her sexual experiences publicly knowing very well how the world would treat her while she had to carry this huge secret and pain for years."
Another shared a throwback interview of Justin humiliating Britney and said, "Mind you, this is the way Justin Timberlake publicly talked about a woman who at one point was pregnant by him, and aborted his child bc “he was not ready to be a father”. Veryyyyy classy. What goes around comes back around."
"So Justin Timberlake went on a press tour, dragged Britney’s name through the mud, bragged tf out about taking her virginity...... and Britney carried his BABY....and he got her to abort the baby bc he didn't want to become a father. Yeah. Okay. OKAY B***H," said another in a post.

Amidst the many posts that were shared online, was one by a lady who claimed that Justin 'agreed' to talk about his personal sex life with Britney in exchange for 'extra spins' of his songs.
"I worked at a Top40 radio station in the early aughts. I remember Justin Timberlake going on an NYC morning show and agreeing to reveal Britney's sexual history in exchange for 'extra spins' of his single," read the tweet.

Meanwhile, Britney supporters found an old clip of the singer, where she revealed that she felt very "exploited" after Justin Timberlake talked about her virginity. The singer was asked about the allegations levelled by Timberlake, where he claimed that she 'broke his heart, did something that caused him so much pain, so much suffering'. On being asked what it was that she did, Spears took the high road, saying, "I was upset. I was upset for a while because I think we were both really young. It was kind of waiting to happen. I will always love him, and he will have a special place in my heart. He is such a great person."

When asked if she cheated on Timberlake, Britney said, "I think everyone has a side of their story. To make them feel a certain way... I'm not technically saying he is wrong, but I'm not technically saying he is right."
Addressing the media chatter about their personal lives, Britney said, "What we did together, sexually. I just felt very exploited and very weird."
"I just know I was in a relationship, and then something happened. I couldn't really go there. Let's talk about something else," she said with a smile.
Several fans noted how Britney took the high road and chose not to run down Justin in any way, but simply focus on her work.
