Vidhu Vinod Chopra who is known for his movies like 'Parinda', '1942 A Love Story', among many others has completed 45 years in the industry. To encapsulate and celebrate his glorious journey in the movies, a special film festival has kick-started in Mumbai on October 13. This festival shall showcase 10 of his best movies - like 'Khamosh', 'Sazaye Maut', 'Parinda'. Some of his cult films as a producer, like '3 Idiots', 'Lage Raho Munnabhai', 'Parineeta' will also be screened at the festival.

One also saw Vikrant Massey along with these veteran actors. It was a delight for fans to see Haasan making a rare appearance. He looked dapper in a black suit paired with a crisp white shirt. Meanwhile, Jackie as always put forward his quintessential style and brought a plant along.

Vikrant is a part of Vidhu's next directorial '12th Fail', which is adapted from Anurag Pathak’s bestselling novel of the same name, the film is inspired by the life story of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi.
In a statement, Vikrant had said that working with VVC is a dream come true and a huge challenge since he’s such a thorough director. Meanwhile, talking about '12th Fail', Vidhu had said, "12th Fail is a tribute to all of them. If this film can inspire even 10 more officers to strive for honesty, 10 more students to strive for excellence… I will believe I have succeeded.”
The film is set to release on October 27.
