Kangana expressed that she does not know why people are uncomfortable with truth.

“To me, Ms. Gandhi is what she is,” she expressed. She also added that we cannot compartmentalize people as ‘good’ or ‘bad’. Kangana added that the film ‘will open many doors for you’ and compared it to "Oppenheimer" in terms of its potential impact.
Further elaborating on the comparison, she added that in ‘Oppenheimer’ one cannot really decide whether to root for him, or if he is getting manipulated, and he is manipulated. “But aren't all of us like that?” she added. She spoke about how life is ‘not so limited’ and suggested that this ambiguity reflects real life, where people are often forced to become someone they don’t want to be due to circumstances.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Kangana spoke about donning the role of a filmmaker, “For me, it is a beautiful dance between every element that surrounds me—light, fabrics, colors, combinations, people, expressions, stories, fantasy, life, paradox, catharsis, subtext." She sees filmmaking as encompassing "poetry, beauty, humanity, destiny, and even God."

Meanwhile, ‘Emergency’ is set to release in theatres on September 6. Starring Kangana Ranaut, the film also features Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman and Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles.
