There are no two ways about Kangana Ranaut being one of the finest actors in the country right now, but her films aren’t able to work magic at the box office, like they used to do in the past. Case in point is her latest film

Tejas

, it had a very interesting premise but the audience were not able to connect with the film and the film has mostly been on a downward spiral post its first weekend.

As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the film would collect about 6 lakhs for its 2nd Friday as per early trends. The film’s total collection now stands at about Rs 6 crore , its advance booking for Saturday is currently clocking a higher number than Friday. This would be stemming from the fact that no other film which released on Friday has even taken a start.
Post the debacle of her film, the actress took a small trip to offer prayers at Dwaradhish temple, sharing the pictures from there she wrote in Hindi, "My heart was very troubled for some days, I felt like visiting

Dwarkadhish

, as soon as I came to this divine city of Shri Krishna, Dwarka, just by seeing the dust here, it felt as if all my worries had fallen apart and fallen at my feet. My mind became stable and I felt infinite joy. Oh Lord of Dwarka, keep your blessings like this 🙏

Things are looking very grim for Kangana as her last successful film was way back in 2019: Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, since then she has delivered films like Dhaakad, Thalaivi, Panga,

Judgemental Hai Kya

etc. She was last seen in the Tamil-language film Chandramukhi 2 which had a box office collection of about Rs 40 crore.
For Kangana now all eyes are set on her next film Emergency, wherein she plays the role of former Prime Minister

Indira Gandhi. The project is extremely close to her, with Kangana producing and directing the film. The film also stars names like Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhary and Bhoomika Chawla.
