Kareena spoke about Tashan on Jab We Met set

Kareena Kapoor recently revealed all she could talk about was '

Tashan

' with Saif Ali Khan during '

Jab We Met

', which she was simultaneously shooting for.
In an interview with Mid-Day, Kareena said that the film was initially titled, '

Geet

', based on the character she would eventually play. According to her, she signed on to the project, thinking of it as just another movie, and the whole time she was working on 'Jab We Met', all she could do was ‘talk about Tashan’, which she felt would be a massive career milestone for her.

Elaborating further, Kareena added that she had no idea the film would be one of the iconic movies of her career.

The actress said that she didn't understand the character even when she was shooting the film. According to her, she felt that she was going to blow everyone's mind with 'Tashan'. However, the Saif Ali Khan starrer bombed at the box office while 'Jab We met' went on to become a blockbuster.

However, the making of this film marked the end of Shahid and Kareena's romantic relationship. Subsequently, Kareena began a new relationship with Saif Ali Khan, whom she met while working on the movie 'Tashan,' and they eventually got married in 2012.
In a 2017 interview with HuffPost, actor Bobby Deol provided a contrasting perspective on the events. He asserted that he was initially approached for the film 'Jab We Met' and had recommended to
