Karnataka DCET 2023 results declared at kea.kar.nic.in; Check list of important documents for verification

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has declared the Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) results.
Candidates who had appeared for the examination, can check the results on the official portal of Karnataka Examinations Authority at- kea.kar.nic.in.
Here's a step-by-step guide to check your DCET results for 2023
Step 1: First, open your web browser and visit the official website: kea.kar.nic.in

Step 2: Once you're on the homepage, look for the specific link related to results.

It might be highlighted or mentioned in a prominent section.
Step 3: Click on the link, which will likely direct you to a new page or a pop-up window. On the new page fill your DCET number.
Step 4: Enter your DCET number correctly and ensure there are no typos or mistakes.
Step 5: After submitting your DCET number, your DCET results for 2023 should appear on the screen.

Step 6: Review your results thoroughly. Check for any discrepancies and report the same to the authority.
Step 7: Download the scorecard, print a hardcopy of your results for future reference.
The KEA had conducted the DCET exam on September 9, 2023. The provisional answer key to the test was released on September 12, 2023.
The exam was conducted in an offline mode with pen-paper test, lasting 3 hours. The total marks for the exam was 180, divided in three sections- Applied Mathematics (40 marks), Applied Science (40 marks) and Engineering paper (100 marks).
Once the result declaration phase has ended, candidates who have qualified and have been shortlisted, will be called for document verification round. Candidates failing to provide the original documents within the stipulated deadline (to be announced soon), will forfeit their chance of securing admission.

  • Original copy of the Challan ( application fee payment)
  • DCET-2023 Admission Ticket
  • SSLC / 10th Standard / Equivalent Examination Marks Card
  • SSLC / 10th standard Marks Card
  • Diploma or Equivalent Examination Marks Card
  • Diploma scorecard of all the semesters
  • Study Certificate
  • Passport size colour Photographs (at least two)
  • Caste Certificate
  • Family/Parent's Income Certificate

Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) is an entrance exam conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission into the second-year of undergraduate engineering programs and first-year undergraduate architecture programs offered under the lateral entry scheme.
