Karnataka Class 12th result 2025: Karnataka Class 12th result 2025: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has officially declared the Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2025 today at 12:30 PM during a scheduled press briefing. Following the announcement, students can now access their results on the official websites — karresults.nic.in and kseab.karnataka.gov.in/english. 73.45% of candidates have passed the exam. The results were declared in the press conference by the Minister for School Education and Literacy, Madhu Bangarappa.
This year’s results were released as per the notification issued by the Board on April 7. The digital scorecards have been made available for download from 1:30 PM onwards. Students will need their registration number and roll number to log in and check their marks.
The Karnataka 2nd PUC exams were conducted across the state in March 2025, with thousands of students appearing for this crucial assessment, which plays a pivotal role in determining undergraduate admissions across streams.

Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2025: Stream-wise pass percentage

The Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2025 has revealed varying pass percentages across streams. In the Science stream, 2,80,933 students appeared for the examination, and 2,31,461 passed, recording the highest success rate at 82.45%.

In the Commerce stream, out of 2,04,329 students, 1,55,425 qualified, resulting in a pass percentage of 76.07%.
Meanwhile, the Arts stream saw 1,53,043 candidates appear for the exam, with 81,553 clearing it — leading to a pass rate of 53.29%, the lowest among the three.
Across all streams, a total of 6,37,805 students appeared this year, with 4,68,439 passing the exams, bringing the overall pass percentage to 73.45%.

Karnataka 2nd PUC result 2025: Passing criteria

To clear the examination, students must secure a minimum of 35% in each subject overall. This includes at least 25 marks in theory and 11 marks in the practical component.
In the 2024 academic year, the overall pass rate stood at 81.15%. Among the streams, Science recorded the highest success rate at 89.96%, followed by Commerce with 80.94%. The Arts stream had a pass percentage of 68.36%.
