Additionally, she urged the netizens to refrain from sharing any baseless information or posting hate comments about the late model. The reason for the demise has not been made public yet. A close friend first shared the news on social media on June 5, and another friend posted a picture of the memorial service, and wrote, “I still can’t believe it…I hope you’re at peace now, without any pain.”

The incident occurred in Hanam, Gyeonggi-do, where a man in his 20s reportedly assaulted his girlfriend. During the police investigation, the man was separated from her and later jumped from the rooftop of a high-rise residence. As a response to the speculations, Kim’s family issued an official statement to refrain from spreading the baseless allegations and let them grieve in private after the sudden loss. “The false information spreading online is causing our family immense pain,” Kim’s sister wrote on social media. Previously, the family was not going to interact online; however, the rising tension has led them to change their minds. The late model’s sister stated that they would be releasing the official police recordings and final conversations with the people to prove his innocence. Additionally, she mentioned that the family was going to take legal action against the false rumours about Kim Jong Suk.
