’s upcoming film Leo: Bloody Sweet is in huge demand and it is evident with the way more and more screens are being added to the mix as the release date is coming closer. When ETimes last reported, the film had just about 1000 screens, but now the number is 1338, as AMC, one of the biggest cinema chains in the USA has also begun advance booking for the film.

It is now being screened at 544 locations and has sold about 37346 tickets.

Leo

still has 7 days to go for its release and it has already collected $832689 (Rs 6.92 crore), making it the biggest advance booking for an Indian film in 2023. The way things are going before the release of the film, it would have collected more than $1.2 million.

Pathaan

had collected $728,000 (Rs 6.05 crore) in advance booking for its opening day in USA and Canada, while

Jawan

had collected $628729 (Rs 5.22 crore)

In the USA, the film is being shown in multiple formats from 2D to XD to IMAX and a very recent format RPX where movies are shown with uncompressed surround sound and bright eye-popping images in 2D and RealD 3D. The film is being screened mostly in

and Telugu, the number of shows in Hindi also have seen a jump. There are now 28 shows in Hindi and it has only sold 28 tickets till now. The film India has received 13 cuts from the Censor Board in India and the makers are more than willing to comply with the board. The synopsis of the film on Censor Board’s website reads as “In the world of untamed rivers that are trying to drown Parthiban, whether he remains as a divine god or a dreaded demon is the rest of the story."

Leo stars Thalapathy Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Gautam Vasudev Menon and Anurag Kashyap and it is carrying a lot of buzz and excitement for multiple reasons. One being, it brings back the pair of Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj after the success of Master.
