After a somewhat slow start at the box office on Friday , the movie ‘Leo,’ starring 'Thalapathy' Vijay and directed by

, made a strong comeback on its third day in theaters, raking in some impressive numbers on a Saturday.
According to new reports, ‘Leo’ earned around Rs 40 crore nett (early estimates) in the domestic market on its third day, showing an impressive 11.88% increase in box office earnings from Day 2, which was Rs 35.25 crore. With this boost, ‘Leo’ has now reached a total domestic net of Rs 140.05 crore. Moreover, in just three days, the movie's worldwide gross has crossed the Rs 200-crore mark.
On Friday, the film's performance had dipped in the Tamil market, but it bounced back on Saturday. The morning show occupancy in the state was 65.73%, which increased to 79.51% during the evening screenings, a significant improvement compared to the previous day.
The movie's performance has been quite remarkable, surpassing the daily earnings of Nelson's Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Jailer’ during its theatrical run. ‘

,’ released on a Thursday, had earned Rs 48.35 crore, Rs 25.75 crore, and Rs 34.3 crore, respectively, during its first three days.
