However, the collection of the film was better than that of Vijay's previous films, and it emerged as the actor's highest-grossing film in a short time. As per the latest trade report, 'Leo' has grossed over Rs 592 crore at the end of day 18, and the film needs a single-digit mark to reach the 600-crore mark.
After having a weak week, 'Leo' peaked well on weekends, and the film's box office number was especially high on Sunday.

Despite buying it for a higher price, 'Leo' has turned out to be a profitable film for its investors and the makers have declared the film as a blockbuster. The official box office numbers are expected to be posted by the makers soon once they breach the 600-crore mark.

'Leo' is preparing for an OTT release as the film nears the completion of the restricted date, and the film will be reportedly streaming on a popular digital platform from November 21.
