Maha TET 2024: Key dates
The last date to apply online for the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) 2024 is September 30, 2024.

The admit card for the examination will be released on October 28, 2024, and the exam itself is scheduled to take place on November 10, 2024.

Maha TET 2024: Eligibility
To be eligible for teaching positions for

Classes

I to VIII in Maharashtra government schools, applicants must meet specific requirements for the MAHA TET 2024. For Paper 1, candidates must have a Diploma in Education (D.Ed) or a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and should have completed and passed their Class 12th exams.
For Paper 2, the qualifications remain the same, but applicants are required to have either passed their Class 12th or completed a graduation degree. Candidates applying for both Papers 1 and 2 must meet the same professional qualifications, i.e., a D.Ed or B.Ed, and should have either passed Class 12th or graduated.

Maha TET 2024: Exam pattern
The exam pattern for MAHA TET 2024 includes two papers — Paper 1 and Paper 2 — each comprising 150 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will receive one mark for every correct answer, with no marks deducted for incorrect responses. Both papers will be conducted over a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Understanding the exam pattern is crucial for candidates to prepare effectively and perform well in this state-level eligibility test.
