According to his company biography, Today.com reports that he once worked seven days a week at a chemical plant, spending his vacation days shrimping. It wasn’t until some convincing by his family that he decided to pursue a different path, obtaining his captain’s license and embarking on a new career. “Jeremy’s a great airboat captain and loves interacting with wildlife & customers,” his bio reads.

Interestingly, Del Rey’s connection with Dufrene isn’t entirely new. Back in 2019, she shared a post on Facebook featuring Dufrene, which she captioned, "Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours."

The post included a series of photos from an airboat adventure, one of which showed her operating the boat under Dufrene's guidance. Another photo captured the pair posing together, along with two of the singer's friends.
