The Madhya Pradesh Right to Education (RTE) Lottery Result 2025 has been officially announced at rteportal.mp.gov.in. Conducted under the RTE Act, this initiative ensures 25% reservation for children from economically weaker sections in private schools.
On May 29, 2025, the lottery results were declared by School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh at Vallabh Bhavan, Bhopal. With 83,483 applicants, 72,812 students have been allotted their preferred seats. This program enables eligible students to receive free education from entry-level classes in over 23,000 schools across Madhya Pradesh. Parents can now check results and begin the next steps in securing the admissions for their children.
MP RTE Lottery Admissions 2025
Applications for admission under the RTE Act were accepted from May 7 to May 21. The verification process was completed by May 23. A total of 1,66,751 children were found eligible for admission to 18,481 private schools across Madhya Pradesh. Among these, 1,03,139 applications were for Nursery, 47,738 for KG-1, and 15,874 for Class 1.
How to check MP RTE lottery result?
Parents and guardians can follow these steps to check the lottery results online:
- Visit the official RTE portal: rteportal.mp.gov.in.
- Navigate to the "Lottery Result 2025" section.
- Enter the application number and registered mobile number.
- View and download the allotment letter for the assigned school.
Additionally, applicants will receive SMS notifications on their registered mobile numbers regarding their allotment status.

Admission process post-lottery
Once a school is allotted, parents must visit the respective school with the allotment letter and necessary documents within the specified timeframe. The school will confirm the admission by capturing the child's photograph through a mobile application, followed by an OTP verification process to finalise the admission. Parents of children who have been allotted schools must complete the admission process between June 2 and June 10, 2025. In case a school refuses to admit a child, complaints can be submitted to the District Education Office for resolution.
