NBEMS DNB Post-Diploma Mop-Up Round Counselling 2024 schedule released, choice filling begins today

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued the schedule for the final (mop-up) round of counselling for the Diplomate of National Board Post-Diploma courses for the 2024 admission session. As per the schedule, the choice filling for the final round will begin today, January 13, and conclude on January 16, 2025. Additionally, the seat allotment result will be released on January 20, 2025.

As per the official notice, only those candidates who are already registered for the counselling and have not been allotted any seat during the first and second round of counselling will be eligible to participate in this round.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in any of the previous rounds of counselling but:

  • Have opted not to freeze the seat, or
  • Have not paid the First Year Course Fee after freezing the seat, or
  • Have failed to join the allotted institute after paying the First Year Course Fee, or
  • Have failed to produce their original documents for verification by the institute after paying the First Year Course Fee, or
  • Have failed to fulfill the eligibility criteria during the document verification process after paying the First Year Course Fee

shall not be eligible to participate in the mop-up round of counselling."
