Gandhi has been having; she began the year with Tere Pyaar Mein from

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar

and followed it up with Munda Sona Hoon Main from Shehzada, and now she has Leke Prabhu Ka Naam from Tiger 3.

Talking about the song, she mentioned that she recorded the song almost a year ago and had no idea that it was for Tiger 3. The singer said, "It was only a few weeks back that I got to know that the song was for Tiger 3 when we were doing revisions on it, we changed a couple of words in the end. We recorded the song almost a year ago.”

This is the second time Nikhita is giving her voice to Katrina Kaif, earlier it was for Na jaa from Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi, alongside

Akshay

Kumar. She mentioned that she wasn’t given any brief to sing in a particular manner, as her voice seems a natural fit for Katrina.
Besides her Bollywood work, Nikhita is also going strong with her non-film independent music. She has recently teamed up with King for a song, she has done a song with

Badshah

and many more artists, and loves to balance between the two worlds. She mentions, “In between my Bollywood projects, I do work on my songs and that keeps me fresh as an artist.” Nikhita also adds that sometimes she forgets the songs she has sung, as invariably the songs get released after a very long time. She added that when her song is up for release, she gets tagged on social media etc, and ends up thinking which is this song, before finally remembering it.
