Paresh: Gadar 2 and Jawan changed gears

It's been a while since we saw a good family comedy and looks like the upcoming 'Aankh Micholi' is going to just fit the bill. The film stars Paresh Rawal,

, Divya Dutta and Abhimanyu Dassani. The story revolves around a girl who has an illness of night blindness but her parents searching for a suitable partner for her. As these actors are promoting their movie at the moment, Mrunal said in an interview recently that this film will be like a breath of fresh air amidst action movies which are working.
She added during a conversation with Pinkvilla that she feels the industry should focus more on comedy films.

Today, if one wants to watch a comedy film, they will have to really contemplate if she can find a comedy movie which she can watch with family. 'Kitna action kar lenge, thodi hasi mazaak bhi zaruri hai life mein (How much action will we do? We need some fun and laughter in life).
Divya added to Mrunal and said that post pandemic, people take time to come to theatres. Then those big action films which were mostly from the south came. Then '

'. So, theatres really needed something which could pull people back to cinemas.

Having said that, the cast felt that comedy never really goes out of fashion. Aankh Micholi is set to release on October 27.
